Study Space

Taylor Library offers 1,000 individual and group study spaces in a variety of arrangements. These spaces can be found on all levels of the floors and stacks.

Media room on Main

A total of 6 media rooms and 7 study rooms are located on the main floor and can be booked for private or collaborative work opportunities. Please note that bookings are limited to a maximum of two hours per day.

This is a conversation friendly space located on Ground that offers five bookable media tables and many individual seats to allow users to collaborate with others on group work.

Quiet Study Zones

Quiet study tables in the Stacks

All levels of the Stacks are quiet zones that offer tables, with most of them having access to natural light. Stacks 1, 5, and 6 offer a little reading nook. Quiet study in small groups is allowed; cellphones are to be set to vibrate and music with headphones is allowed.

Silent Study Zones

Cubicles on Ground floor

Ground and Lower Ground offer silent study zones – no talking allowed, cell phones are to be set on vibrate, and only music with headphones allowed. All cubicles have access to outlets and built-in lamps. Perfect for focused study.

Conversation Friendly Zones

Study tables on Main

The main floor of Taylor Library offers a number of tables, comfy chairs, and booths for you to talk with friends and classmates; cellphone use and music with headphones is allowed.
