Services
The Law Library is open to the public during normal operating hours. Everyone is welcome to visit and use the collection.
Info Desk
The Info Desk is to the right of the library entrance. At the Info Desk you can:
- Sign out and return books, Interlibrary Loans, course readings, items from affiliated university college libraries, etc.
- Get help with your library account.
- Sign out chargers, adapters, etc.
- Get help with printing, copying, and scanning.
- Obtain "Guest Access" login for non-Western affiliated users.
- Ask about lost and found items.
- Get general library and research assistance.
Research
Law Library staff are happy to assist you with your research needs. Help is available:

Course readings
Items that are on reserve for your course are kept behind the Info Desk and are available for 2 hour loan.

Faculty
Book returns
Items can be returned to the Info Desk or in the book return bin located just outside of the Law Library's entrance. You can return Law Library books to any of the other library locations on campus.
Lost and found
The Law Library has a lost and found box at the Info Desk. If your item has not been turned into the Info Desk, check with Western's Special Constable service.
Printing, copying, and scanning
On the main floor, there are two multifunctional devices (MFD) that can print, copy, and scan. To print or photocopy, you'll need to set up a PaperCut account.

Specialized equipment
In addition to cables, chargers, and adapters, the Law Library also has a HappyLight light therapy box available to borrow for 2 hours.

Guests / visitors
The Law Library is open to the public during normal operating hours. You are welcome to visit and use our collection on-site. Computer access is limited but text-based materials and photocopying are available.

Library facilities
Law emergency telephones
Western Libraries has installed red emergency telephones in The D. B. Weldon Library, Law Library, and Allyn and Betty Taylor Library. These phones are connected directly to 911 at Western's Special Constable services.
To operate, simply press the button.
Emergency telephones are indicated by ET on the library floor plans.
