Linda and Walter Zimmerman

In the fall of 2017, The Linda and Walter Zimmerman Access Lab was partially funded by Walter and Linda in order to make a difference for people with disabilities at Western. Both are proud Western alumni, Walter receiving his Masters in Library Science in 1971 and Linda receiving her MSc. in Computer Science in 1979. Linda worked at the Computing Centre (now ITS) from 1969 to 1972 and Walter's career was spent entirely in The D. B. Weldon Library from 1971 to 2010, primarily as a Reference Librarian with a specialization in database searching.
