We’re excited to develop a new Western Libraries strategic plan that will guide our priorities for the next four years – and it’s important that you’re part of the process.
Our last plan was created in 2015 and our world has changed significantly since then. As we reflect on these changes, our new strategic plan will embed what we’ve learned and map how Western Libraries can best support your education, research, and teaching in alignment with the themes in Towards Western at 150.
Together, through our inclusive planning process, we’ll explore fresh ideas and capture your perspectives on the future of Western Libraries.

Over recent weeks, we’ve also held focus groups with campus and community partners, Western faculty and students, and with our staff. It’s because of this deep engagement that we’re confident our new strategic plan will chart a course reflective of the diverse feedback shared.
